Christmas is a few days away and I am in the thick of checking my Christmas list, one recipient at a time. Becoming a mom changed even my Christmas list, as more kids get added to it year after year!

Not complaining though because it’s so fun to shop for kids, especially with these great finds that we highly recommend from our shop! Here are our top 10 Christmas gifts for kids – fun and educational!

1. T-MATO Toys

In case you missed it, we gushed over these Teacher-Made Toys here. These toys are perfect Christmas gifts because they are fun, open-ended, and can be used for various ages.

They have toys from kids ages 1-7, making it almost a one-stop brand for Christmas shopping. T-MATO is distributed in Manila by The Learning Basket and you can find the toys here.

2. Travel Tic-Tac-Toe by ManilaBaby

Part of our list of favorite books about saints, this collection of stories about the lives of these holy heroes is one of the best the we’ve seen. It helps the children relate with the saints, inspiring them to live like them. Children ages 7 up will appreciate this gift. A few copies left here.

4. The Catholic Children’s Bible

We love, love, love this 2000-page children’s Bible  by Saint Mary’s Press because it contains the full (yes, full! Not bible stories!) text of the Bible written for children to understand and appreciate.

Familiar Bible stories are highlighted in its “Read It! Live It! Love It!” section that includes questions for reflections, prayers, and other activities that can be done to make God’s word real in our young readers’ lives. Email us at shop@thelearningbasket.com to order.

5. Magic School Bus VCDs

Get ready for adventures with Ms. Frizzle and the gang with these science-themed videos. The Friz, as her students call her, is known for her crazy field trips that take the children from as far as the outer space to as near as one one of their classmates’ body.

In every adventure, they find answers to questions about the world around them. Science will never be the same after taking Ms. Frizzle’s class. For kids ages 4 and up. Available here.

6. Mighty Mindchristmas gifts for kids

Our kids enjoyed Mighty Mind and we cannot recommend it enough! It is a tangram puzzle that invites children to build different shapes and pictures using the pieces provided in the set.

A multi-awarded game that promotes logical thinking and problem-solving skills, it has different levels and themes that make it perfect for kids ages 3 up. Available at The Learning Basket Shop or email us at shop@thelearningbasket.com.
